GraphOn and Genisar Sign OEM Agreement To Provide Platform to Test Drive Software Without Installation

MORGAN HILL, CA, USA - July 11, 2001 - GraphOn® Corporation, (Nasdaq: GOJO), (http://go.graphon.com/index.html), a leading developer of infrastructure software that instantly web-enables Windows, UNIX, and Linux applications, and Genisar Corporation, a leading provider of online software demonstration services, today announced signing an OEM agreement. By licensing GraphOn technology, Genisar will provide independent software vendors (ISVs) a platform to demonstrate software applications on demand over the Internet regardless of the operating system and without affecting software already installed on the ISV customer's system. Together, GraphOn and Genisar technologies remove a significant barrier to enterprise software sales and help ISVs' customers make more informed buying decisions.

Genisar provides an interactive technology that helps ISVs, value-added resellers (VARs), and software publishers enhance the effectiveness of their sales efforts. Genisar's virtual software wrapper, web enabled by GraphOn's GO-Global®, protects and delivers full-featured business applications over the Internet at the click of a button from a web site, yet prevents unauthorized software downloads and limits misuse by allowing the application provider to set certain rules, such as disallowing local printing.

Genisar chose GraphOn's GO-Global after finding the security and performance of other third party solutions inadequate in meeting their needs for a highly scalable multi-user demo platform. By using GraphOn GO-Global software, the most sophisticated Windows, UNIX, or Linux enterprise software can be run using a web browser over any connection. With easy online access to demonstrations, the application providers' sales organizations can show real-time instances of new applications and utilities without installing software or restrictive hardware requirements. For urgent or hard-to-schedule meetings, sales demonstrations can be given very effectively without an onsite visit.

GraphOn Vice President of Worldwide Sales, George Phillips, sees great possibilities in the synergy betIen Genisar and GraphOn, and expects new doors to open for GraphOn's web enabling software. "In addition to providing instant gratification to IT professionals shopping for sophisticated applications, the Genisar model is a great showcase for GraphOn's own technology. I believe many of the same ISVs who market their products using Genisar's remote access demo platform will want to use GraphOn technology to web-enable their own applications for the general enterprise marketplace."

"IT professionals need a sterile environment to evaluate software and find out exactly how it's going to behave before committing resources to deploy it in a pilot or actually integrating it into their organization," said Genisar Vice President of Marketing, Jeff Wasel. "GraphOn provides the single most robust and OS-independent solution for web enabling applications without rewrites, without risk, and without compromising the application, allowing our customers to feel like they're in control of their product from demo to sale."
